SWTOR - Tython and Korriban getting an graphic update

The PTR for the 7.4 update has hit the clients, and players have experienced a fundamental difference in some of the graphics related to Tython and Korriban.

New Exploration Mission Icon

The first noticeable change to 7.4 on the PTS is the addition of the new segmented Quest Triangle. The old Exploration Mission Triangle used to have a small star next to it.

New Tython Waterfall Animation

New resolution animated Waterfalls have been spotted on Tython near the Fleshraider Gnarls. The water is no longer grey-white and flows along a path with splashing whitewater.

Imperial Uniform Update

Imperial NPCs wearing Officer or Agent armour seem to have been updated as well. The shoulder patches, rank badges, pleated uniforms, belts and utility pouches have all been updated.

New Korriban Sands

Korriban is the most radically overhauled planet in 7.4. From the sands on the ground, a more realistic sandy gravel surface has replaced the cartoonish orange.

New Temple Walls and Rocks

Rock walls Temple Walls, and Obelisks have had texture changes as well, there are now more defined cracks along the surface and the old cartoony graphics have been overlayed with higher contrast.

At a glance, it looks like more environmental updates than actually a full graphic overhaul but it can be a step towards seeing more details and the building getting an overhaul as well
